In short: Seren is in a private pilot. Today this site runs a demo with a fictional company and collects the details you give us when you join the pilot list. No real email, call or contract is connected yet. Before that happens, this policy will be updated and you'll be told.

Who we are

Seren is run by Alex George in the United Kingdom. For anything about your data, email hello@seren.my.

What we collect today

• The pilot list: your work email, company and role, only to contact you about the pilot. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
• The demo: a sign-in cookie so the demo works, and basic technical logs (time, page, errors) that never contain what you type or view.

How Seren will handle your mail, once pilots begin

These are the rules the product is being built to, and real mail won't be connected until they're in place and have been independently reviewed:

• Only what you choose. Seren reads only the labels, folders, channels or clients you map to an account. Everything else is never stored or processed.
• Read-only. Seren never sends, deletes or changes anything in your tools. Drafts are yours to send.
• Leads see the record, never an inbox. Colleagues see the ledger and short quotes; full messages are visible only to the person who connected them.
• Sealed processing. Your content is processed inside sealed, hardware-isolated machines (in the UK where available; we'll name the region before pilots start), with keys that Seren's own staff can't use to read it.
• No AI company gets your identifiable data. Outside AI models only ever receive stripped-down reasoning tasks with names, companies, amounts and dates removed.
• Never used to train AI, by us or anyone else.
• Leave any time. Export or delete everything, whenever you like.

Google user data

When Gmail is connected, Seren's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: Gmail data is used only to build the ledger you see, never for advertising, never sold, never used to train AI models, and never read by a person unless you ask us to help with a specific problem and agree to it, or the law requires it.

Who handles data today

The full list for pilots (including any AI providers and where they run) will be published here before any real data is connected.

How long it's kept

Pilot-list details: until the pilot ends or you ask us to remove them. Demo activity is wiped every night.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it's used: email hello@seren.my. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update it here first and tell pilot members directly.
